Venari Finance is delighted to be supporting our global client to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for their growing team.
Due to a number of acquisitions our client is looking to build a new finance team in Glasgow. A great opportunity for an individual looking to develop a long term career with the business with a number of internal opportunities to progress their career.
This would suit an individual who is newly qualified/a couple of years post qualified experience.
Role overview:
- To assist the Management Accounts Manager in production of accurate management accounts, and relevant commentary, within the tight reporting deadlines
- Liaise closely with CFO and Finance team on results and reporting.
- Prepare and review reconciliations to verify the accuracy of management accounts and perform monthly, quarterly and year-to-date variance analysis to budget and prior year on P&L.
- Production and review of ad hoc reporting as requested and assisting to establish key reporting outputs for senior stakeholder.
- Assistance and support in response to external and internal audit requests.
- Assistance in production of the annual budget, supported by the Management Accounts Manager and reviewed with the CFO.
- Liaising with the processing team to control posting of month end journal transactions and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Liaising with Finance Business Partners and other departments out with Management Accounts team to provide support for queries as they arise.
- Build relationships within the wider Management Accounts team, and across other regional teams
- Help drive forward change to ensure that department and team members improve, supporting graduates and part qualified students in their development
