In House Solicitor - Commercial Contracts

Venari Recruitment are excited to be working with one of the nation's leading retail brands who are forming a dedicated team to deal with all commercial contract matters. You will have the choice to work from Edinburgh, Glasgow or remote (with occasional travel to one of the offices for meetings etc).
Given the nature of the work it will be to encompass commercial contracts, technology and outsourcing agreements, third party supplier arrangements and other contracts relating to its business operations and more. The work will be varied, challenging and extremely engaging.
Due to the single client focus and nature of the team these roles will give you greater flexibility, you will be part of the core legal function but also have the scope to use other like-minded solicitors as well as a number of international law firm colleagues.
You will work as part of a team to deliver the full spectrum of commercial contract requirements. This will include drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts as well as providing advice on contract or other queries. Through newly established ways of working, including an increased emphasis on technological solutions, you will be supported in taking full ownership for contracts, giving greater responsibility than is available in traditional private practice teams.
Ideally the successful candidate will have between NQ - 3 PQE and have experience either within an In House environment or dealing with commercial contracts for an established law firm. You will bring energy and enthusiasm and be able to work as part of a team and be committed to providing the best level of service to the client and developing lasting relationships.
