We are excited to be working with an international prestige law firm who are looking to recruit an experienced Corporate Associate to join their successful Investment Fund & Asset Management department.
You will be responsible for advising clients on the full range of their investment funds work, including fund structuring, formation and investment, corporate transactions and commercial contract and outsourcing. You will be acting for a range of fund managers from large institutions to boutique fund managers, pension funds and banks.
The successful candidate will have experience working on funds transactions and have some knowledge of regulatory backdrop as it relates to investment funds. It would also be advantageous if you have some understanding of partnership law in the UK. The role will involve drafting and negotiating fund documentation including limited partnership agreements and side letters, drafting documentation in relation to the establishment of new managers and advisers including shareholders agreements and LLP agreements, reviewing fund documentation for agreements and much more.
You will have an interest in developing your current expertise doing a mix of transactional and advisory work and enjoy a fast moving, friendly team. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, contribute to business development and leadership while raising your own profile and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
