Conveyancing Solicitor

I am currently recruiting for an established law firm based in the centre of Aberdeen. They are looking to add an experienced residential conveyancing solicitor to their growing and successful team.
As a solicitor you will work closely with a long standing team of experienced and dedicated conveyancing professionals. You will be responsible for overseeing your own caseload while carrying out both sale and purchase residential conveyancing transactions from start to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on property sale and purchase conveyancing transactions;
- Liaising with other solicitors on residential property transactions;
- Delivering monthly targets for volume of settlements and revenue generated from conveyancing transactions;
- Cross-selling non-conveyancing services provided by the firm to its clients including Wills, Powers of Attorney and estate agency services;
- Assisting in auditing, anti-money laundering and source of funds compliance checks;
- Liaising with third party suppliers involved in the conveyancing process;
- Ensuring processes and procedures are completed accurately;
- Completing any other job related tasks as requested by your line manager.
Key Requirements
- Unflinching dedication to customer service and the concept that the client or customer must always be treated as if they are right;
- A strong background in the legal aspects of residential property sales and purchases over several years;
- A proven track record in handling a significant number of conveyancing transactions;
- Ability to self-generate fee revenue for the firm through business development activities;
- Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills;
